For The Gruffalo’s 20th anniversary, Royal Mail has commissioned illustrator, Axel Scheffler, to draw a unique illustration of his most popular character of all time; The Gruffalo. The brand-new, full colour work shows off the Gruffalo and other well-known characters (Owl, Snake, Fox and Mouse) in a composite artwork. The scene is a
synopsis of the main story; with Mouse looking on knowingly, as the other characters react in alarm to the Gruffalo.
